The Glooko IR Adapter works just as advertised. I purchased this to keep records of my blood glucose history, and wanted something that is straight-forward and easy to use. I found the Glooko app for iPhone, and my meter (accucheck nano) needed this adapter in order to communicate with the meter and the iPhone.
The product works perfectly each time, being able to keep track of my blood glucose history on my iPhone so that I can share instantly with my doctor.
The only con would be it's price. It's in a pricey category considering what it does, which is to only sync.
But overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Grossly overpriced and poorly designed. It requires you to buy a 40 dollar adapter to run with your iPhone. They could have built-in the iPhone 30-pin connector on the back, instead of the ugly loop. This way, it takes too much space in my glucometer pouch and required me to buy the additional hardware (which is even bulkier).

Highly recommended, works with both Iphone and Ipad.
