Once again, Otterbox does the job right! This unit DOES work with the HTC Inspire 4G (AT&T). I purchased 2 of these earlier this month (one for me and one for my husband). We use them on our Inspire phones and everything works perfectly. All the buttons line up, all of the ports line up, all of the mics and the camera equipment line up. It also protects the camera by keeping the lens from hitting surfaces when laying the phone down. With the provided protection and the excellent pricing on amazon, you cannot go wrong!

I've had several Otterboxes for my various phones over the years. This one is no exception, tough, great fit, great quality.
It fits the HTC Inspire 4G perfectly as well.

This case has great potential. It is very tough, but bulky. It more than doubles the thickness of the phone. Which is fine, because I bought the case to protect the phone, not to save space. It WILL protect the phone if it is assembled properly. The initial assembly resulted in a very tight and secure fit. However, after removing the case once or twice to change the SD card in the phone, the top left corner of the hard inner case (the corner by the volume and power buttons) does not fit tightly together anymore. The initial assembly gave a very tight fitting case. I can even hear a slight squeak when I squeeze the top and bottom halves together, attempting to achieve a tight fit. I can feel the case giving and shifting while pressing the power button. Maybe not a big deal, but it can cause the case to fail if the case is not tightly snapped together. If the case halves can shift, the other snaps can come open, resulting in a functional failure of the case. The Inspire is a very expensive phone. Under the right conditions, this can cause you to have to replace your phone. This may just be a defect in my Defender case and not all of them. But, since this is a review on my case and experience, I gave it three stars. Case MUST be removed to change the SD card. If changing the SD card can eventually cause the case to fail, it may not be worth the purchase. If not for this inconsistency, I would have given it 5 stars.
