As long as your meter is compatible with Glooko products, you can download readings from multiple meters to create one cohesive logbook. Readings can be downloaded from both mg/dL and mmol/L meters.

The amount of exclamation points clearly doesn't do this justice to a diabetic's life. We've been Mac people forever - and I hated not having compatible pump log software or meter software. Kudos to Glooko for making something compatible with iPhone. I will love you forever, so will my son's freestyle lite!

This Glooko MeterSync Cable is as advertised -- easy to "install" and easy to use. It is quick and presents a visible and accurate record that I can share easily with my doc. Thank you!

I have one issue with the Glooko cable, and several issues with the Glooko software.
When I hook the cable up to my meter and my iPhone it gives an error message when I try to sync. Reproducibly. I need to re-connect the cable 4-6 times for I can successfully sync. I think this is a problem with the cable, which, as other reviewers have commented, is rather expensive. I don't begrudge them the high cost of the cable, as the software is free. But I expect a better quality cable that the one they provided.
I am more unhappy with the Glooko Software.
1) It seems that the value in having an electronic version of a logbook would be the ability to provide graphs and trends. Glooko does not do that.
2) When you switch to the tabular view of the logbook, your BG data is in four columns: 12AM-10AM, 10 AM-3PM, 3PM-9PM, and 9PM-12AM. These groupings are useless to me, as I usually have multiple readings within several of the time frames. I contacted Glooko support and requested that the user be able to to modify these time frames. They responded with obfuscatory gobbledegook "due to FDA regulations, changing these time slots is considered a "manipulation" of data which is not permitted for a Class 1 Device." I responded that this was not legitimate, and that when I googled FDA search terms "class 1 device data manipulation" I found no such regulation. Their response was "Thank you for your feedback. We will definitely keep it in mind" and declared that "This request has been deemed solved." This response of hiding behind false FDA regulations indicates to me that they are NOT interested in creating a good software product, but solely interested in selling overpriced and low quality cables.
