Treat the stylus like a small, soft-tipped paint brush and stroke the screen.

This was my second purchase from the Friendly Swede. I can't say enough good things about their customer service and their products. High quality styluses at a fraction of the price you would pay elsewhere. This particular size stylus is really great for drawing or typing on the IPad. The little bit of extra length allows you to see exactly where you are placing the tip of the stylus allowing for more accurate placement. Your hand can stay far out of the way and doesn't block your view of where you place the tip. That is the usual problem with average length styluses. My hand is too cramped down on the stylus and ends up blocking my sightline on where to place the tip. This is SO much more comfortable to use. No cramped hands and excellent visibility. It is a very nice weight also. Not too light, but not heavy at all. The included lanyards are a very nice touch to keep the stylus with your IPad if you are worried you might misplace it.
The quality is equal to all other styluses I found at local stores, and you get 3 FOR LESS THAN THE PRICE OF 1 at the stores. The cheapest I found was $13.88 for 1 Targus brand stylus. Other than the Friendly Swede Logo, I can not tell the difference in the two brands. ( The Friendly Swede also has a VERY NICE 7.3" version that is otherwise identical in quality to this one and that one is also very comfortable to use. I never saw that particular length one in any stores, so you really owe it to yourself to pick up the 7.3" version and see if you don't love it as much as I do! ) That one is a couple inches longer than the average standard sized one sold in stores, but to me it makes all the difference in comfort when using it. The shorter standard sized ones just don't work for me at all. Just forces my hand to cramp up. I personally find this particular length of 5.3" to be the most useful and comfortable across multiple applications, but that 7.3" stylus is right up there too. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability but have been using the same one non stop for a couple weeks or so and it shows no signs of wear yet. I understand that eventually the tip will wear out and the stylus will need to be replaced at that point.
I sent an email to The Friendly Swede which was answered very promptly and professionally. They answered all my questions thoroughly. They are hands down the friendliest and most professional sellers I have dealt with on Amazon. Other sellers should take a note out of their customer service handbook on how to treat customers and keep them coming back for more. Ridiculously Fair Prices, Quality Products and Fast, Friendly, Professional Service.......Isn't that what we all deserve when we give a company our business? It may just have been some styluses, but they won my business from now on for any product they make that I need. Wish we could get the owner John to take over the airline industry. Those would be some friendly skies.

Received my stylus 3 pack two days ago. Wanted to use them before I wrote a review. The quality if the Stylus' are excellent, they are nicer and more responsive than the Boxware stylus I purchased about five months ago that wore out already. The price was also excellent, the three pack cost about the same as only one Boxware stylus and they are much nicer. They also come with lanyards in two different lengths allowing you to choose from a length that is long enough that you can use your stylus without having to continuously unplug it or the shorter standard option. There was also a nice size cleaning cloth included not one of those tiny miniscule ones some products try to pass off as a cleaning cloth. Friendly Swede you hit it out of the park with this product. Looking forward to seeing what else you have to offer!!!:)

When looking for a stylus for iPad, I wanted a product that could hold up and also be comfortable to use without having to think about it. After consulting several reviews, I chose the 3-pack from the Friendly Swede for several reasons.
We all know how regular pens can be lost at times. This pack allowed me to keep the extras where I need them for such an occasion. The best part of this stylus is that it feels like, weighted like and is sized like, a regular pen, including a clip. The rubber nub at the end of the stylus has held up to mild use so far, and you do not have to press harder on the screen to register a click. I have not had the stylus long enough to see how long the nub lasts during normal wear-and-tear.
The two lengths of nylon tethers also help with keeping the stylus attached to the iPad via the headphone port. The type of case you use (one with or without a stylus holder) will determine the optimal length to use. One note: You can push the tether into the headphone port at two depths (all the way will put the very small thin ring that holds the nylon cord to the attachment piece almost in contact with the edge of the iPad - keep in mind if you carry the iPad in a bag where it is constantly jostled). The way to attach the longer tether comes in handy when you have the device propped up for presentations, etc. The shorter tether is best to keep the pen attached when in transit. You get two long and two short tethers in the package.
You also get a nice-sized cleaning pad as part of the package. All in all, a well-made and thought-out product that feels like a real pen when in use.
